The cool April breeze, right before it gets really, I mean really hot in south Texas me and some of my closest pals had a long overdue family session. Literally this could be our THREE year thing? Ha, and each time we’ll just add a new kid (God-willing, fingers crossed) and I’ll still be giddy as can be capturing the growing, steady, most beautiful Sprague crew.
Laney and Hunter are youthful by age but so beyond their years in life experiences. It’s such a joy to watch people you know and love grow and create little humans. Kinda weird too, because I can and can’t remember them without children. I think that’s fine though, as time allows change, I think they’ve done a stellar job!
Here’s to my people and the most precious babies you ever did see, Ansel and Rose, love ya’ll forever.

It’s Fall and the leaves don’t really change in south Texas but the vibes do and I’m here for it. I met Courtney and Sean a little over two years ago and they have become family as they let me ride along from seasons of engagement, to marriage to now just two pup-parents surviving this pandemic life.
It felt a ting of normalcy getting to capture their current stage of life then laugh and talk about how so much has changed. It is moments like these I cherish with friends who feel familiar and comfortable. Enjoy my cute bubbas!

It was all a dream…but it wasn’t and like the snow globes I would rapidly shake as a kid, here we are in the Apache Mountains. I’ve always dreamed of this type of setting, let alone in the most gorgeous state during the winter, sweet Colorado. We drove through hippy mountain towns to reach Sugarloaf, CO. There’s something about the blanket of white with tall forest green pine trees, fresh air and the grand rock with snow sprinkled atop. Being there is enough to take your breath away but add the beauty of two people in love and the landscape, it’s like a touch of heaven.
These two are longtime lovers turned man and wife. I love them a lot and can’t wait to watch them grow old together and yell, “YALL STILL GOT IT, bring back the denim JUMPSUIT KEKE!” To Parker and Kiley, thank you for always being down for whatever. My kind of homebodies!

All I keep singin’ is Brown Skin Girl. They’re skin just like pearls! Gosh, we luv being graced with some melanin love. These two are proud new parents to two kitties: Mavis and Juice. Did they particularly love being captured? Probably not. But did they surprise us with their involvement? Absolutely. And with all the laughter, moving trash cans, to the red brick storybook home and cat food bribes, I adore the Claire + Greg.

So if you about it, you about it. Just finished Rhythm + Flow so naturally, I’ve picked up some rap lingo. This family is ALL LOVE. The story goes beach camp, Rocket Lanes and a visit to Boston. In the dreamiest location on a 50 something evening in Portland, Maine we just moved to flow of the land and sea. No British came, but we did eat plenty of lobster. The Chewning’s are the perfect balance of affection and goofiness and they may just hold a special place in my heart. I like they way they encompass redemption and connection (ooh she a poet)..plus always down for a car jam. In the most dramatic way, something in me died when I had to leave New England coast summer 17’, but I’m glad I returned in the magic of fall. Lets keep the memories flowing.

California, knows how to party….in the city….
Honestly, the wild Wild West is where my heart comes alive. Whether its the massive amount of palms, the ocean or scenic mountain drives {in traffic} and the friendly laid back vibes of the locals. I have always had a special place in my heart for California and getting to make a pit stop with friends in Lake Forest for a session was a blast.
The Coulter’s are musical, down to earth and not short of personality. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did getting to create and groove with my west coast peeps.

Manicini and wife….and BODIE. I am in awe of the genuine love these two good friends of mine have for each other. Meg and Jake encompass such a togerthship about them, that you feel it even from across the room.
